God commands us to forgive everyone.
Most people today don't want to forgive those who have hurt them, but we must forgive if we want to be forgiven of our sins by our Heavenly Father. I love You, Father, King Jesus, and Holy Spirit!
By reading God’s Word daily, we will realize that forgiveness is crucial as to us moving forward with our lives. Dwelling on the hurt and pain we have suffered in the past only brings us more hurt, anger and everything else that Satan tempts us to feel what he feels. Satan is not for forgiveness, he is all about hate, anger, pride, greed, envy, murder, and everything that goes against what our God and Creator is about. No matter what people have done to hurt us or cause us pain, if we don’t forgive them, then God will not forgive us. We have sinned more times than people have hurt us or caused us grief and pain. The natural human instinct is to say hurtful words back, be bitter, angry, prideful, and hateful, but with God’s Holy Spirit dwelling inside of those who trust in God and believe in Jesus, we will do the things that Jesus Christ does, and the Holy Spirit changes us to be holy and to live Christ-like lives.
Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. - Ephesians 4:25-32.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. - Galatians 5:22-26.
And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man.” - Mark 7:20-23.
Before we do accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, we have those tendencies that drive us to be like Satan, as he tempts us with our weaknesses, sinning without realizing we are sinning, and before we know it, we are really deep in sin, not knowing that we are, and we need help very badly. That’s where calling on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ comes in. He saves us from our sins, from Satan, from everything that Satan tries to tempt us with. Jesus Christ is more powerful than Satan will ever be, Jesus will destroy Satan once and for all. Our Father in heaven is merciful, loving, gives grace, forgives, gives us hope, peace, smiles, laughter, strength, courage, comfort, and joy, all the things Satan is not. All anyone must do to get God’s free gift of eternal salvation is to repent of your sins, believe in the gospel, accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, follow His 10 commandments and surrender your lives to Him. Call on Jesus’ name because tomorrow is not promised for anyone. God Bless everyone!
Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. - 1 John 3:8.
And above all things have fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins.” - 1 Peter 4:8.
Therefore do not let your good be spoken of as evil; for the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. For he who serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men. So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding. - Romans 14:16-19.
Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to be abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. - Philippians 4:11-13.
