Happy Father's Day to my stepdad.
Most importantly a happy Father's Day to our Abba-Father who deserves Father's Day wishes, praise and glory because He created men to be dads for their children.
I wanted to give reverence to both my Abba-Father and to my stepdad, but mostly to my Father in heaven. I definitely do want to mention that my stepdad has been a great dad throughout the time he has been in my life. Best dad I could have ever asked for to be honest. We have our ups and downs, but he’s really awesome and we have most of the same interests which I’m very thankful for. What I’m most thankful for is that both my Mum and my stepdad both wanted to start reading the Bible and they helped me on my faith journey, best decisions we all have ever made. Having a personal relationship with our King Jesus Christ is very amazing. We had no idea how much God would impact our lives in a way we never thought possible. So much peace, joy, strength, courage, our faith is growing stronger each and every day, hope and so much comfort from our Father in heaven. Not all our depression, pain or anxiety has gone away fully, but what I can tell you is that God is our ultimate strength in everything good and bad in our lives. God with us and next to us, we can overcome anything. We will face struggles, challenges, obstacles and tribulations, that’s what this life is all about, but give your troubles to Jesus and He will replace everything with comfort, strength, courage, peace, hope and joy, just keep your eyes on Jesus and everything will be okay. Jesus Christ wins in the end!
As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear Him. - Psalm 103:13.
And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” - Joshua 24:15.
Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. - 1 Peter 4:8.
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. - 1 John 3:1.
It’s not about dads who are biological and who brought you into this life, but we can thank them for that opportunity and with God’s help too that we are here. It’s about if your dad has been there for you throughout your entire life and established that bond and connection with you as a child until your adult life, now that’s a dad or a dad who becomes a stepdad when your biological dad isn’t there at all, that’s also a dad. A dad who teaches his children about life, about basic things, about manners, about being kind no matter who hurts, abuses or disrespects you, about respecting everyone especially children and elderly people and about establishing friendships/relationships, giving advice about everything a child is struggling with, and most importantly, a very good dad will bring his family up on the Word of God, with Scripture and Biblical teachings. This nation was founded on Christian beliefs and now we seem to have lost the teachings of the Bible and of Jesus Christ. If it’s in God’s will for America and all over the world, to have children be brought up to learn the Bible, Scripture and everything about Jesus Christ, and no other false religion. Even though you never watched me grow up in my childhood or teenage years, thank you so much dad for seeing me in my adult years, I am very grateful for you and my Mum for helping me on the path to knowing God, watching me grow in my faith and in my relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Happy Father’s Day dad! May it be the best day for you, and I’m thankful we can spend the day together! God Bless you and all dads who are like you! Amen.
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. - Proverbs 22:6.
My son, do not despise the Lord's discipline or be weary of His reproof, for the Lord reproves him whom He loves, as a father the son in whom he delights. - Proverbs 3:11-12.
And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven. - Matthew 23:9.
Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. - Proverbs 3:3-4.
