Spiritual Discernment: Part II.
Christians must not practice anything that is related to the demonic realm. Claiming it's harmless when in fact yoga is very harmful, there are dangers involved. I love You, King Jesus!
Yoga may seem harmless to people because it’s just “fitness, meditation and working out”, but what they don’t understand is that they are allowing demons into these practices, especially with the different postures. The picture above explains in more detail as to what yoga is all about. I pray that people claiming to be Christian will have discernment when it comes to these types of practices, anything which is related to the demonic realm. God hates idolatry in all aspects, we are to only worship our Father in heaven. We must not be seduced by anything that is related to the devil, he is a liar, he is deceitful, he steals, kills, destroys, he traps people with the idea that they are worshipping the true and living God, but they are not. The devil plays mind games, he prowls around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour and we must always turn to our Lord Jesus Christ to help us fight the temptations, the deceit and the lies that the devil always wants to make look good, but when we look deeper into the practices, it’s evil and we must resist him daily. I give all the praise and the glory to Jesus Christ for everything, and I thank Him that He helps us with the discernment of these demonic practices.
Here are verses to help with having spiritual discernment when it comes to these evil practices:
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. - 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.
Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. - Colossians 2:8.
You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons. - 1 Corinthians 10:21.
Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. - Galatians 5:19-21.
Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? - 2 Corinthians 6:14.
But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” - Revelation 21:8.
Do not quench the Spirit. - 1 Thessalonians 5:19.
Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. - 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them. - Hebrews 13:8-9.
Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron. - 1 Timothy 4:1-2.
Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds. - 2 John 1:9-11.
In order to be saved from the demonic practice of yoga, you must confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, repent of your sins, believe Jesus died on the cross to pay the atonement for your sins when you confess them, surrender your whole life to God, be obedient, fully committed to Him and follow His Commandments. Turn to Jesus Christ today, because tomorrow is never promised at all for anyone. God Bless everyone!
